Safety

The RAV 4 is an advanced Active All Wheel Drive (in an AWD variant) means you’re steadier on your feet. Because power is dynamically distributed, you get sure footed handling in all conditions. On Cruiser, Cruiser L and all V6 models you also get the added safety of Downhill Assist Control (DAC) (automatic transmission models only), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) & Traction Control (TRC).

Performance

With a choice two engines you can go for the advanced VVT-i 4-cylinder RAV4 twin cam or go for the extra power of the 201kW RAV4 V6.
The RAV 4 has Vehicle Stability Control & Traction Control for superb traction and control when accelerating and cornering. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC) work together for a smoother, safer drive. VSC automatically adjusts the engine output and the brake force of each wheel to counteract under or over steering when cornering. TRC prevents the wheels from slipping when accelerating in difficult conditions - such as on wet or gravel roads - assisting you in keeping your cool on tough terrain. These are just some of the advanced Driver Assist Technologies you can find in the RAV4.

Lifestyle

With Remarkably versatile rear seats you can slide then back, slip them forward or fold them flat, the rear seats adapt to you and your lifestyle. The 60/40 spilt rear seats give you total flexibility when it comes to what the passengers prefer.
