The Kluger uses a Control Area Network (CAN) to link engine output, brake power and distribution, and steering torque, ensuring they all work together effectively in an emergency for more enhanced control, especially when cornering on wet, gravel, or otherwise slippery roads.

Design

With the use of ‘smart start’,starting the car becomes so much easer, with the key in your pocket (or handbag); you can just put your foot on the brake and push the start button and… ignition!  Entertainment is at your fingertips with the sound of Kluger's 6-speaker MP3 compatible CD audio system. KX-R grades enjoy a single disc, KX-S a 6 disc in-dash CD changer and Grande an AVN system incorporating Satellite Navigation and a 4 disc in-dash CD changer. MP3 fans will further benefit from the audio input jack on the KX-R and KX-S models - perfect for your iPod® or other MP3 players, and built-in Bluetooth™  capability on the KX-S and Grande also allows hands-free conversation through a compatible mobile phone. Kluger Grande also features a fully included ceiling mounted DVD Rear Seat Entertainment system,  With A 9" LCD screen that flips down at the push of a button (and folds neatly up again when not in use), three wireless headsets and two connections for wired headphones.

Interior

The Kluger is longer, wider and higher. This creates an open, airy space that’s easier to access, sophisticated and highly usable. With increased space between passengers and between rows, what’s more, 2nd and 3rd row passengers sit higher, and the drive is more comfortable, thanks to a telescopic steering column, installed at a more ergonomic angle. The Kluger has fold-flat 2nd and 3rd row seats and a variety of clever storage spaces; this means significantly more room for luggage and cargo.
